I really enjoyed this class and also I learned a lot in this class also. I learned a lot things that i want to learn before but I know how to do those things now. My favor part of the class is to learn how to use Photoshop that i can use photoshop to make photo more fun and more cooler. and thank you Mr. Larson you are a great teacher and really helped us a lot.

Ansel Adams
1.He was born February 20, 1902 to Charles and Olive Adams in upper class scotland. Ansel had no siblings. they moved to america later in 1902.
2.he took pictures at the japanese internment after the attack of pearl harbor. He has taken many different photographs which have been put in museums, portfolios, books, etc.

Edward Henry
1. Edward Henry was an American photographer, and co-founder of Group f/64. Most of his work was done using an 8 by 10 inch view camera. The New York Times newspaper reported on April 14, 2008 that Sotheby’s sold an Edward Weston photograph to a New York art dealer for $1.6 Million.
2. His views on photography, and his working methods. He has been recognized as one of the best photographers of the 20th century.

1.What are the three basic elements of a camera?
Optical element (the lens), chemical element (the film) and a mechanical element( the camera it self)
2.What is an SLR camera?
The camera with a single lens Reflex camera the scene being photographed is reflected onto the surface of the film by a mirror.
3.What is the purpose of a camera's aperture?
Aperture is referred to the lens diaphragm opening inside a photographic lens. The size of the diaphragm opening in a camera lens REGULATES amount of light passes through onto the film inside the camera the moment when the shutter curtain in camera opens during an exposure process.
4.What does shutter speed on a camera control?
It control the amount of light reaches a digital camera sensor.
5. To get the right exposure for a picture, what three things must be balanced?
choose the light meter mode. The light meter mode on our camera allows us to shoot in matrix, spot or average metering. You're going to flip between matrix and spot metering to light meter properly.
6. To take pictures outside on a very sunny day, would you use a high or low film speed? Why?
High, because on a sunny day with a 100 iso you should use N and a more open aperture
7. What are the four steps for developing black and white film?
1) light-tight place to put film on the reel--like a dark bag
2) A developer tank and reel Scissors
Thermometer (I use a digital kitchen thermometer)
3) Timer (I use the second hand on my wrist watch)
4) Several beakers to measure your chemicals (typically one per chemical, I use 3)
5) Clips to hang your film (I use magnetic paper clips from Office Depot)
6) Of course, your developing solutions. I use Ilford Perceptol, Ilfostop, Ilford Rapid Fixer, and Kodak Photoflo rinse aid.

drying cabinets,tongs, a stop bath, developers, print paper, fixer, developer trays, and washes to make a black and white print.
9. For a black and white print, the final image is actually what material?
The final image in black and white print is actually developed silver.
